Getting the Cancer diagnosis ignites a spiral of unique and challenging life changing circumstances. While every body is different, for most the shock of the diagnosis, navigating the wave of treatment options in the Cancer World, and confronting survival issues creates an abrupt reassessment of priorities. This is when shift happens. Fatigue, depression, physical and emotional pain, treatment induced side effects, and body image compromises significantly impact quality of life issues for Cancer Warriors. Few medically supervised after care programs exist that target behavioral interventions for these Cancer related concerns. Studies on exercise after the Cancer diagnosis report that it does not matter what form or how long one exercises, but that it is done in intervals daily.
